Bengali Five Spice 50g
Also known as Panch Phuran our blend of Bengali Five Spice is made up of easy to use Ground fennel, cumin, fenugreek, black mustard seed and nigella seed, can be simply fried in oil with vegetables (especially, pumpkin or potatoes) and fish or seafood. These herbs and spices introduce a subtle flavour (without the chilli). Used as an additional flavouring for Dhal (split pea) curry, lentil curry and stews. Even simple baked beans can be ehanced with an addition of Bengali Five Spice and our Garam Masala- Paprika Curry Powder. As little as a teaspoon added during the cooking process will encourage aromatics to any dish, resulting in delicious flavours. |
